Starmet coordinates the entire project lifecycle, from initial requirement clarification, engineering and technical solutions to manufacturing, inspection, shipment and final delivery, providing clients with a single and consistent project interface.

For complete equipment packages and complex engineering projects, Starmet develops the overall technical solution and coordinates specialized manufacturers for different systems and equipment, including electrical and high-voltage systems, transformers, hydraulic units, mechanical equipment and automation.

Throughout the project, Starmet manages technical requirements, engineering drawings and reviews, manufacturing progress, quality control, inspections, installation guidance and commissioning, ensuring all systems and equipment work together smoothly from design to final delivery.
 

Manufacturing & Engineering

Starmet combines in-house engineering, R&D and manufacturing capabilities with a network of specialized manufacturing partners to deliver complete metallurgical equipment and components.
Our manufacturing capabilities and partner facilities cover machining, welding, heavy lifting, assembly and large-scale equipment fabrication. Together, these resources allow Starmet to manage the complete process from engineering and drawing review through manufacturing, inspection and delivery.
Depending on the technical requirements of each project, Starmet combines its own engineering and manufacturing capabilities with specialized manufacturing partners, covering:

* Furnace bodies, shells and roofs

For large and complex equipment, Starmet manages the process from engineering and drawing review, material and manufacturing procedure approval through production, in-process inspection and final acceptance, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

Quality Control

Starmet integrates quality control throughout the entire project and manufacturing process, with inspection requirements established according to the equipment type, project specifications and applicable standards.

For critical equipment such as water-cooled components, particular attention is given to material quality, dimensional accuracy, welding procedures and leak-tightness. For critical welds, TIG root welding followed by MAG/CO₂ shielded welding may be applied where required by the design and technical specifications. Welds are subject to appropriate visual, dimensional, non-destructive and pressure/leakage testing as specified for the equipment.

For fabricated equipment and steel structures, our quality control covers:

* Engineering drawing and technical document review
* Raw material and Material Test Certificate (MTC) verification
* Cutting and dimensional control
* Welding preparation and edge preparation
* Welding procedures and welder qualifications
* Weld visual and dimensional inspection
* Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), where required
* Hydrostatic, pneumatic and leakage testing
* Machining dimensional inspection
* Surface preparation, including sandblasting and coating
* Heat treatment and other special processes, where required
* Final assembly, dimensional inspection and factory acceptance
 
Where required, we also coordinate third-party inspection and client witness inspections.
Our objective is not simply to manufacture equipment, but to deliver high-quality equipment with controlled manufacturing processes and reliable project execution, meeting the requirements of international industrial projects.

International Delivery

For international projects, Starmet leverages an established international trade and supply chain structure to support export procedures, customs clearance, logistics, documentation, settlement and delivery coordination.

For international trade execution, Starmet works closely with Ningbo Trust Base Trading Co., Ltd., our long-term international trade partner, supporting export contract execution, customs procedures, international logistics, trade documentation and international settlement.

Depending on the requirements of each project and destination country, Starmet remains responsible for client communication and overall project coordination, while Ningbo Trust Base supports the relevant international trade and export execution, ensuring efficient and compliant international delivery.
After-Sales & Technical Support

After-Sales & Technical Support

Project delivery is not the end of our service.

Depending on the equipment type and contractual terms, Starmet typically provides a 12–18 month warranty period, commencing from shipment, delivery or another agreed contractual milestone.

During the warranty period, for issues arising from manufacturing quality or other matters within the contractual responsibility of the supplier, Starmet coordinates the relevant technical and manufacturing teams to provide technical analysis, corrective solutions and after-sales support.
Beyond the warranty period, Starmet provides long-term technical support throughout the operational life of the equipment, including:
* Equipment operation and maintenance support
* Troubleshooting and technical consultation
* Engineering drawings and technical documentation support
* Spare parts selection and supply
* Equipment upgrades and modernization
* Remote technical support
* Long-term equipment and spare parts supply

For urgent technical issues, 24/7 emergency contact support can be provided through telephone, email and online communication channels, subject to the applicable project service arrangement.

Spare Parts
Starmet maintains a long-term spare parts supply capability for equipment delivered to our customers. Based on original equipment specifications, drawings and historical supply records, we can provide original or technically equivalent spare parts with controlled quality and compatibility.

For long-term customers, we provide priority support in spare parts availability, delivery lead time and commercial terms, while maintaining compatibility with the technical requirements of the original equipment.
